Fenugreek Chutney

Good for diabetics.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp fenugreek seeds – soaked overnight and drained
  • 1″ piece peeled ginger
  • 2 tbsp garlic cloves
  • 5-6 green chillies
  • 3 tbsp coriander leaves
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt

Method

  1. Grind fenugreek seeds, ginger, garlic, chillies and coriander together.
  2. Taste and season well.
  3. Pour in lemon juice and sugar.
  4. Mix well and bottle.

Serve with fried chicken or as a relish. Good for diabetics.
