Gor Amli Nu Doru

8 drumsticks, peeled and cut into 3 inch pieces
Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
Chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
2 tsp Dhansakh masala powder
Gram flour 1 Tablespoon
300 g tamarind infused in one cup water with
Jaggery 100 Gram
Salt To Taste
3 tbsp ghee or oil
Onions 3 (Chop:)
6-8 green chillies, seeded
Coriander leaves 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Chop:)
Ginger 2 Inch (Chop:)
1 large pod garlic
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Boil drumsticks till just done.
Heat ghee or oil in a pan and fry onions till light brown.
Add remaining chopped ingredients and powdered spices and saute for one minute.
Add gram flour and continue to saute for 1-2 minutes more, adding a little water if required.
Add strained tamarind and jaggery juice and bring to boil.
Add drumsticks and simmer till thick.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with khichdi and papads.
