When I was 7, I used to pretend to be a celebrity chef and talk out loud to the ‘camera’ while I made my cereal. When I was 16, my favourite show to watch on TV was Apprentice. And, once I started writing about food and catering, Masterchef soon became one of the few shows I avidly followed on TV.

So imagine my delight when I got chosen to be one of twelve participants on a new reality show that’s coming to Fox Life THIS Monday! This fun (only in retrospect) show is called Grilled and you can watch me pitch my business idea to make Parsi food cool again live on national TV while I try to get funding for it from none other than @RiyaazAmlani
