Marinated Sour Chicken

1 chicken 800 gms

1 tsp of ginger/garlic paste

salt to taste

1 tsp of garam masala.

Marinate in 1 cup of sour buttermilk (whisk up sour curd with a little water). Marinate the chicken overnight in salt, sour buttermilk, ginger/garlic paste and homemade garam masala powder.

Grate two med sized onions, fry them in 2 tblspns of oil or ghee.

Add the chicken, let it simmer and cook in it’s own juices until tender and dry.

Saute 2 capsicums cut into fours (add them later)

Fry a couple of potatoes, boil a few peas. All these veggies are optional, mix well before serving.

Garnish with fresh coriander. Can squeeze some lime juice if on hand.
