FISH PAATIO
        
         1 can Mackerel or any fresh fish steaks about 2 lb.
         1 cup chopped onions
         8 oz. (one can) tomato paste
         1/2 tsp. each of powdered coriander, cumin,
         cayenne pepper and turmeric
         2 green hot peppers
         2 cloves of garlic chopped
         2 tbs. vegetable oil
         1 tbs. chopped celentro
         salt to taste
        
         Saute onions in oil to light golden brown. Add garlic and all dry ingredients and saute for 2 to 3 minutes on lowered heat till aroma is released. Add tomato paste and about 1/2 cup water. Cook for 5 minutes. Add fish and simmer for 5 minutes more, without stirring.  Cook extra 5 minutes if fresh fish is used. Add cilantro during the last minute.

 Serve over steamed rice or Khichri. Serves 4 to 6
