TOMATO GRAVY NA CUTLETS Cutlets in Tomato Gravy INGREDIENTS: For Cutlets 1/2 kg
chicken mince 1/2 cup water 3 tsp ginger and garlic paste 1 chopped onion 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp turmeric 1 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp pepper 2-3 slices of bread soaked in water dry breadcrumbs 3 beaten eggs oil 4 green chillies chopped METHOD: In a pan,. put the mince, adding chopped onions, green chillies, a little salt and half a cup of water on the fire. After it is cooked and all the water dries up, remove from the fire and grind the mince mixture. Add the ginger and garlic paste, salt, pepper, turmeric, chilli powder and coriander leaves. Squeeze water out of the bread slices and add to the above mixture. Mix and keep aside for 1-2 hours. Make 10 cutlets from the mixture, cover in bread crumbs, dip in the beaten eggs and deep fry till golden brown.
INGREDIENTS: For Tomato Gravy 1/2 kg tomatoes, ripe 1 cup water 1 dsp flour 1 tbsp oil 1 small onion, chopped 3 green chillies 1 tsp chilli powder small piece of ginger 2 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp vinegar salt In a pan, put the tomatoes adding 1 cup water, chopped onion, ginger, green chillies and a little salt, on the fire. When the tomatoes are cooked, cool, and put through a blender, removing first the onion, ginger and green chillies. Heat the oil, add flour and chilli powder and stir a little. Slightly cool, add the tomato juice and bring it to a boil. Add vinegar, sugar and salt to taste. Serve hot on the cutlets.
