Turmeric dates back to 500 BC, it is a central part of Hindu ceremonies and ancient medicinal Ayurveda. It heals wounds and rejuvenates the body.

My Grandmother’s Turmeric Milk Recipe

Soothes coughs, heals wounds and is an anti-inflammatory.

Tried and tested in my home.

  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • Pinch of Salt

Heat Milk in microwave to make it hot. Add turmeric and a pinch of salt. Drink warm early in the morning or before going to sleep.

  1. Yes, turmeric is extremely healthy; I have been adding it to a lot of my foods… at the moment, it ends up frequently in my omelets. Thanks for bringing this to Fiesta Friday!
