Vaal ni Daar cooked in pressure cooker is soft and tasty.

Make it like our Dhansak Masala Daar (without meat) with tomato, kohru (pumpkin) , methi and potatoes.

Add dry mango powder, gor (gud) to taste.

Garnish with fried onions and serve hot with Rotli.

Vaal are white beans available in indian grocery stores. Click HERE to see. When you soak and sprout the whole vaal it becomes Titori.

We Parsees call it Titori and the Gujaratis call it Val ni dal or Val nu shaak.
