Barley is good for constipation, cancer, kidney stones and cholesterol. Many Parsi Cuisine foods have barley flour and barley seeds.
Recipe for Barley Water
1/2 Cup Pearl Barley
1 Gallon water
1 inch grated Ginger
Boil all of the above for one hour. Cool and strain. Keep cold in regrigerator and drink one glass each day.
