Doodhi ni Barfi

Ingredients:

  • 800 gm Doodhi / Lavki
  • 400 gm sugar
  • 200 gm mawa / khoya
  • Pinch of cardamom
  • 0ne drop of edible green color (optional)
  • 5 tsp chopped pistachios and almonds

Method: 

  1. Boil the doodhi for 1 minute
  2. Put the doodhi in a non-stick pot and then put 400 gm sugar.
  3. Keep cooking for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Then put the mava in.
  5. Add green color and mix well. This optional,  barfi will be good without color.
  6. At last spread out in a greased tray.
  7. Garnish with chopped pistachios and almonds
