Appetizer Coconut

Mawa Samosa

Recipe

1 package frozen mawa / khoya. I prefer the Nanak brand. Link to purchase

1 package Frozen parathas. I prefer kawan. Link to purchase

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp cardamom

Milk as needed.

Method

Mix mawa, sugar and Cardamom on low heat. Stir till blended. Use milk if needed. Cool and keep aside.

In a baking tray, spray Pam or use a non-stick mat. Place round paratha on mat and cut in half.

Place 3 tsp of the mawa mix on the semi circle and fold to make a samosa. With a fork seal the edges. Do the same with the other semi circle.

Bake at 350 F till the samosa is light brown. They will Puff and you will have 2 samosas.

Enjoy! This is a very easy trick to make the samosa. Of course any other fillings like spicy potatoes, kheemo, sweet coconut khaman, will also be good. The possibilities are endless. No oil, no frying and no fafa!
